Postion: Customer Service Assistant

It takes a lot of different people to make sure that our company runs smoothly and this job is for the doers with plenty of variety. This is a committed role full of challenges but that’s one of the things that makes this job role exciting.

Being a Customer Service Assistant means that you will be helping our customers with their needs daily. You’ll learn new things and become part of a specialist team where everyone is welcome.

We’re looking for someone who has the desire to learn about the products that you’re selling and someone to be happy and helpful towards our customers. You’ll have a great team to help you out when needed.

Your job role will include but not limited to the following:

• Answering customer phone calls
• Responding to customer emails
• Dealing with customers over our trade counter
• Dealing with customer returns
• Listing products on our eBay and Amazon store fronts
• Adding products to our websites
• Printing customer orders
• Filing paperwork for customer orders

The job role will also include some general warehouse duties where needed such as:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Loading and unloading parcels from Delivery Vehicles
• General warehouse tidying, upkeep and maintenance

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role which required the ideal candidate to work swiftly, efficiently, and accurately whilst adhering to the set business standards and daily targets. You will be well organised, methodical, and tidy in your approach to work. You will have good communication skills and be computer literate.

Part of working within all the areas mentioned above enables progression for the successful candidate into a full-time role within these different areas depending on where you are best suited.

The working hours for this role will be 40 hours between Monday to Saturday, 8:30am-5:00pm over 5 days.

Salary for this role: £10 per hour
